Hasselblad

The Swedish company Hasselblad dates back to 1841 and was founded by Fritz Victor Hasselblad. Their first photographic products were introduced in 1887. Hasselblad was Kodak-distributeur for Sweden.

During the Second World War, Hasselblad mainly focused on the production of aerial photo cameras. After the war, the 1600F was designed, the first medium format 6×6cm SLR-camera with an interchangeable film back.
