This charming German Akarette II is a robustly designed 35mm viewfinder camera. As can be seen on the pictures, it has some traces of use, but certainly not excessive. Film transport good. Diaphragm works. The shutter works fine on the short shutter speeds, but falters on the long speeds. This is a usual shortcoming for cameras this age and could be fixed by getting it serviced. The inside is neat and operational. A name is engraved.
The Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 2.8/45mm lens is in good condition. The glass is clear and scratch free. Fosussing runs a little heavy.
This is the type with the metal top and bottom plates. A nice addition to your collection.
