Kiev 60 medium format camera

The Kiev 60 is a remake of the Pentacon Six, made in the former Soviet Union. It is a robust body in beautiful condition. The shutter speeds seem accurate by ear. Mirror okay. The viewfinder is fairly bright. Focusing screen intact. It should be mentioned that the loupe is in poor condition, which makes focusing somewhat difficult.

The Arsat 2.8/80mm lens is also in good and usable condition. Focuses smoothly. Diaphragm works. Glass is clear and scratch free.

Vintage Kiev cameras and accessories ("Kneb"/Киев) After the second world war, the production of Zeiss equipment was transferred to the village of Arsenal, Ukraine. The factory mainly produced simplified replicas of the renowned brands such as Hasselblad, Zeiss Ikon, Nikon and Pentacon. Some of the clones were actually really good, such as the Contax remakes. The Kiev-88 is one of the most famous productions of Arsenal and resambles the Hasselblad 1000F/1600F.
