Voigtländer Vito B with Color-Skopar 3.5/50mm lens and Prontor-SVS shutter

This fun retro photo camera Voigtländer Vito B looks very neat. See pictures.

Optically:

The 50mm lens looks good. Focuses smoothly. Diaphragm good. Glass is clear and scratch free.

Mechanically:

Film transport good. Back closes at it should. The shutter can only operate when the camera is filled with a film cassette. Because the camera hasn’t been used for a ehile, the shutter gets stuck every now and then.

Cosmetically:

Hardly any traces of use. Camera covering is overall intact.

Other info:

  • Produced 1957
  • Uses 35mm film

Comes with:

Brand

Voigtländer

buy voigtlander cameraVoigtländer was founded as early as 1756 by Johann Christoph Voigtländer in Vienna. That makes it one of the oldest brands in the history of photography. Voigtländer produced the world's fastest lens in 1840, and the world's first fully metal daguerreotype camera in 1841. In that time that was revolutionary, because those were the first photographic lenses and cameras that were designed using precise mathematical models. During centuries, Voigtländer continued innovating: they launched the first 35mm zoom lens and the first 35mm compact camera with a built-in flash unit.
