Leica IIIC “Stepper” with Summitar 5cm lens: Collector’s Item

This interesting Leica IIIC Stepper was produced during the Second World War and has a red shutter curtain. The red of the curtain has become a little stained over time. The A/R lever is situated on a higher level; this in contradiction to the later Leica 3C camera models. See pictures.

This set does have some traces of use. The previous owner says he had this camera recently serviced. It is therefor in excellent technical condition. The shutter works perfectly at all shutter speeds.

The Leitz Elmar 3.5/50mm screw lens is cosmetically great and optically near perfect.

The serial number of this Leica 3C is 368485. The catalog number is Leica LOOZS. This is the top of the bill for collectors!
